Friday, Oct. 12

5:30 p.m. Vespers, Reid Chapel. A service of worship featuring the Samford University Chorale, A Cappella Choir and Samford Alumni.

6:30 p.m. Homecoming Banquet, University Center. The banquet celebrates the 146-year tradition of the Candlelight Dinner and Alumni of the Year: See Page 2 for list of alumn.

7:00 p.m. Women’s Basketball Red/Blue Scrimmage, Pete Hanna Center

7:30 p.m. Samford Theatre presents “Steel Magnolias” in the Harrison theater

8:00 p.m. Homecoming Bash/Bonfire/Pep Rally/Concert, with live music courtesy of guest artist, Ben Rector and the introduction of the 2012 Homecoming Court.

 

Saturday, Oct. 13

9:00 Live @ the Library, Davis Library

9:30 a.m. Morning Sing, Reid Chapel.

10:30 a.m. The Thomas E. and Marla H. Corts Homecoming Parade. This year’s parade will be a special treat with Head Coach Mike Morris.

11:15 a.m. Journalism and Mass Communication Wall of Fame ceremony, Bolding Studio

11:30 a.m. Tailgates and Reunions, Quad.

2 p.m. Football: Samford vs. Appalachian State.

 

Sunday, Oct. 14

2:30 p.m. “Steel Magnolias”
