VIRGIL VAN DIJK has slammed Neymar and his play-acting PSG team-mates – but reckons Liverpool must be more streetwise.
Jurgen Klopp’s side became frustrated with the French champions' antics during Wednesday’s 2-1 Champions League loss and they ended up with six yellow cards – compared to the home team’s two bookings.

Dutch defender Van Dijk said: “Every time we made a foul, they all came to the ref, trying to get us a yellow card.
"We should so the same, at times.
“Obviously they are fantastic players, world-class players.
"But I don’t think it is needed in the game, at times. Sometimes they get hit and they will go down but sometimes it is too easy."

"I was getting so frustrated and it is important to keep your head and keep cool.
“It is not my type of game that I like. I respect them as players because they are world-class but it is not necessary at times.
"Other than that they scored two goals, they won and we lost.”
Liverpool team-mate James Milner reckons it is now part and parcel of European football.

He said: “You cannot be surprised by that. If you are surprised, that it is a bit foolish.
"As a player you cannot do anything about it.
“You have to keep pressing and win the ball back and it is in the referees’ hands to give a foul.
