Oleksandr Zinchenko shows off bloody and battered nose after being elbowed by his OWN team-mate in Man City win

BATTERED Oleksandr Zinchenko has paraded the full extent of his cracking encounter with Manchester City team-mate Fernandinho.

Ukraine star Zinchenko posted a photo on Instagram of his bloodied and swollen nose caused by an accidental elbow from fellow midfielder Fernandinho during Saturday's 3-1 win over Bournemouth.

Zinchenko, 21, had to be replaced by Fabian Delph early in the second half after being helped off, clutching his nose.

But he seemed in good spirits the following day as he posted the battered headshot with three smiling emojis.

Premier League leaders City actually netted their two decisive goals following Zinchenko's substitution.

Bernardo Silva had smashed Pep Guardiola's men in front early on but England new boy Callum Wilson nodded the Cherries level on 44 minutes.

But after Zinchenko went off, Raheem Sterling soon fired what was, incredibly, his tenth goal in seven games against the same opposition.

Ilkay Gundogan then poached a close-range clincher.

So at the final hooter City had maintained their perfect home Prem record this term.

Zinchenko, meanwhile, will just hoipe his nose woe has no impact on his recent progress.

After a loan spell with PSV Eindhoven last season, he turned down a £16million move to Wolves in August.

Real Betis also came sniffing – and the Spaniards, plus Napoli, are already being linked with a January deal.
