CONFUSION reigned at the Nations League semi-final draw as England waited to find out their opponents.
Gareth Southgate watched on as fans first thought his team had been drawn to face Switzerland.. only for it to emerge that they had actually been drawn to meet Holland.

Now it has been confirmed that England will face Holland on June 6 in Guimaraes.
The other semi will see Portugal take on Switzerland on June 5 in Porto.
Debate about who was actually playing who began when Uefa decided to mix up the draw.
First they picked out the home teams – Portugal and Holland – and then the away teams – England and Switzerland.

However, the way it was called out meant some viewers thought Portugal had been drawn against Holland.
Portugal are the hosts of the Nations League finals.
Respected BBC journalist Ian Dennis was one of many fooled by Uefa's bizarre method.
He tweeted: "UEFA Nations League semi-final draw is Portugal v Holland so England will face Switzerland."

Some viewers also spoke of their confusion.
One said: "Shame, for a minute there I thought England had drawn Switzerland!"
Another posted: "That draw confused me, thought we were getting Switzerland."
A fellow user wrote: "The Nations League draw was a tad convoluted."
One comment read: "Why was that draw so confusing for four teams."
