AMIR KHAN revealed that Harry Redknapp sounded him about I’m a Celebrity last year.

Boxer Khan was the seventh person evicted from the jungle last year, a series won by Made in Chelsea star Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo.

Before Redknapp, 71, entered this year he claimed he had never seen I’m a Celeb before.

The former Tottenham and West Ham manager has won a whole new legion of fans over his pining after his wife Sandra, who he has been married to for 54 years.

But, according to Khan, Redknapp was bending the truth about how much he knew about the show before signing up.

The former light-welterweight champ said: “Harry Redknapp is wicked. I spoke to Harry when I came out of the jungle.

“He started messaging me quite a lot, saying ‘how’s the jungle? Is it really that scary? What’s the food like?'

“He kept asking me these questions and I was wondering why he was asking me so many – maybe someone had already approached him.

“When I look back at it now it was all to do with him going in.”
