OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER insists today’s shootout with Tottenham is NOT an interview for the Manchester United job.

The Red Devils interim boss has five wins from five so far but Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino remains the hot favourite to land the permanent role.

Solskjaer said: “It’s not about me and it’s not about him. It should always be about the players. We don’t kick a ball.

“We may make a decision here or there but it’s down to the players to perform and I’m sure my boys are ready.”

Victory over the man most see as the Old Trafford chief-in-waiting would crank up the pressure on United’s power-brokers to stick with Solskjaer, 45, beyond this season.

Asked if he viewed today’s Wembley clash as a job interview, he hit back: “No, it’s not about me at all.”
