The Birmingham Zoo is hosting five more nights of family-friendly, Halloween-themed fun during Wells Fargo’s Boo at the Zoo event.

The animals will be put away at 4 p.m. in order to make way for “trick-or-treating, rides and games,” according to the zoo’s website, birminghamzoo.com. Everyone is invited to dress up in family-friendly costumes and trick-or-treat through each of the candy villages set up by area non-profit organizations and businesses.

This year, participants can enjoy the following rides and events:

-The Scarousel

-Ghoul School at Grandma’s Back Porch

-The Eerie Express

-The Glow in the Dark Dot Maze

-The “Monster Mash” Dance Party

-A Halloween-themed Wildlife Show

-Gruesome Golf

-Children’s Pony Rides (new this year!)

This is a fantastic way for family and friends to celebrate Halloween in a safe and family-oriented environment. Drive on down to the zoo for a night filled with cackles, candy, costumesand cobwebs… if you dare.
